Results of Salary Study

June 1, 2021 / HR News/Training

NOVA Human Resources has completed the review of the Segal salary study, which provided a market assessment and internal pay analysis to address concerns of salary compression for NOVA’s classified staff and administrative/professional faculty. The results of this study have given NOVA Human Resources the information necessary to provide identified employees with salary adjustments that address misalignment and/or salary compression as well as establish a new and sustainable compensation program.

As a result of this study, 40% of the classified staff and 27% of the administrative/professional faculty will receive a salary adjustment. Classified staff receiving a salary adjustment are being notified by email. Administrative/Professional faculty will be notified with their annual contract at the end of June.

NOVA Human Resources is committed to maintaining transparency, consistency and fairness in making compensation decisions for our workforce. If you have any questions about the results of the study, please reach out to Employment@nvcc.edu.
