VCCS Launches FLUID

Over the weekend, VCCS launched ‘FLUID,’ the new look and feel to the 9.2 Student Information System (SIS). This new user interface allows for a more responsive and mobile-friendly SIS experience. Navigating through the system will be slightly different and includes new terminology like Homepages, Tiles, Navigation Bar, Navigation Collections, etc. Users will log in to SIS as usual using the myVCCS portal. Clicking the SIS Tile will bring you to your FLUID Homepage.

Fluid Homepages are role-based and help organize key parts of the SIS system. Various business processes can be represented by Tiles, which provide quick access to all of the pages or links needed to complete a process. The option of returning to ‘Classic Home’ is also available using a tile (below) or Nav Bar.
