The Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program competition for 2022-23 is open! Visit the Catalog of Awards for details of over 400 awards offered across 130 countries. 2022-23 Scholar-in-Residence Program seeking
U.S. Institutional Hosts

The Fulbright Scholar-in-Residence (S-I-R) Program is accepting applications for U.S. institutions to host an international scholar in the 2022-23 academic year for a semester or full year to support campus internationalization goals. S-I-Rs work across departments and curricula to enhance an international program, develop new world area studies programs or add an international dimension to coursework.  Fulbright provides J-visa sponsorship, travel, and living stipends to scholars who further U.S. institutions’ internationalization efforts through:  

  •     Teaching  
  •     Curriculum development  
  •     Developing exchange partnerships  
  •     Community engagement

Strengthen your international connections with an
International Education Administrator (IEA) Award

2016-2017 Fulbright International Education Administrators Seminar to India

International Education Administrator (IEA) Awards send U.S. international education professionals and senior-level higher education officials abroad to forge empowering connections with their higher education counterparts in other countries. The IEA Award is an intensive two-week seminar in which selected applicants learn about the host country’s education system as well as establish networks of U.S. and international colleagues. Current hosting countries include France, Germany, Russia, and South Korea. Each country has varying deadlines, please consult the website for more details. Please encourage relevant colleagues to apply. Application deadlines vary.
