On-Campus Dining, Vending, Cafe Options–Ya Gotta Eat!

As we return to campus, we want to remind you that there are a number of on-campus food options available.

Dining
On July 1, 2020, NOVA welcomed Surefire Catering and Muscle Maker Grill to the on-campus cafeterias.

Starting August 9, 2021, both vendors plan to re-open at their respective locations. Surefire will provide service in the CF Building at the Annandale Campus, and Muscle Maker Grill will provide the same operations at the Alexandria, Loudoun, Manassas and Woodbridge campuses. There will be some menu adjustments as we regain our footing post-COVID.

Surefire Catering offers a wide-ranging selection of freshly-prepared foods by experienced chefs and will incorporate items for special dietary needs, such as vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, dairy-free and nut allergies. They also offer frozen, boil-in-bag barbecue packs (smoked pulled pork, smoked chicken, baby back ribs, smoked turkey or beef brisket). Online ordering will be available via the Toast App here.

Muscle Maker Grill features high-quality, great-tasting food, freshly prepared with proprietary recipes. The menu, created with the guest’s health in mind, is lean and protein based. It features chicken, grass-fed beef, steak, turkey, pasta, burgers, flatbread pizzas, wraps and entrée salads. It also offers a wide selection of fruit smoothies in a variety of assorted flavors, protein shakes and supplements. Online ordering is coming soon.

Vending
Full-service beverage and snack vending machines are available in most College buildings.

Additionally, the MEC campus has a self-serve micro market with meals, snacks, coffee and cold beverages available 24/7.

We are working to have all locations refilled (and any expired products removed) by June 21^st.

Bookstore Cafes
The campus locations of Barnes & Noble serving Starbucks Cafés will reopen on July 19 at AL, AN, MA and MEC. The Loudoun café is currently under construction in the new building.

These cafés serve Starbucks Coffee and offer pastries, salads, paninis, pizzas and more.

All locations accept cash, credit card or NOVACard payment. Some locations accept online payment options, and we are working to make touchless pay more widely available.
