Mark Your Calendar: Goodbye and Gratitude Party for Dr. Sheri Robertson

As Dr. Kress announced in Tuesday’s Letter from the President, Dr. Sheri Robertson will be leaving NOVA next week for a new one-year role as Associate Vice President for Academic and Workforce Policy at VCCS before her well-deserved retirement next year. Sheri has shaped curriculum and policy in Virginia as an innovative and compassionate academic leader through nearly four decades of service, and we will be sending her off with our thanks and well wishes next week.

For those who wish to celebrate Sheri’s service to NOVA, there will be both in-person and virtual opportunities available.

An informal gathering will be held on Wednesday, June 30 from noon-2:00 p.m. in Brault 321. If you are interested in attending, please RSVP here.

A virtual Zoom Goodbye and Gratitude Party will start at 3:00pm. Dr. Kress will provide opening remarks recognizing Sheri’s leadership and legacy and there will also be an opportunity for anyone who wishes to express their thanks to speak during the event.
