Recreation and Wellness activities are not just for students. Faculty and staff can also take advantage of our daily offerings. The following are our summer semester offerings. 

Optimal Health and Wellness Dissected
Mondays, 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m.

In this ten-week course, we will delve deeper into the factors that affect our health and wellness, using the knowledge learned in the Optimal Health and Wellness Course as a springboard. We will start with Digestion and move into Detoxification. Register in advance for this webinar

Zumba
Tuesdays, 11 a.m. until 11:30 a.m.
We are delighted to announce our new Zumba classes! Zumba sessions are offered every Tuesday at 11am. Zumba is a choreographic dance fitness program that is based in Latin movements but also includes other world movements. You do not need to be a dancer or have rhythm to join our sessions. Let’s take a break from work or study and dance off some calories. Register in advance for Zumba  

Quiet the Mind, Open the Heart
Tuesdays, 12:30 p.m. until 1 p.m.
In this 30-minutes meditation session, we will guide you into a meditative state of deep relaxation to quiet your mind and open your heart. The class may be enjoyed sitting comfortably or lying down. Register in advance for this webinar

Sit N Fit
Tuesdays and Thursdays, 12 p.m. until 1 p.m.
Sit N Fit is created to give you a workout without being on your feet most of the time. Therefore, this lessens the impact of exercise on your joints. The low-medium impact exercises provided is perfect for to help build strength and stay active. Click this Link to Join and Get Active!   

Inner Connections: Guided Meditation
Wednesdays, 4:30 p.m. until 5 p.m.
Want to let go of the stress of school and life and check in with yourself? We’re happy to offer you a soothing guided meditation to help bring a little more joy into your week. Register in advance for this webinar

Inner Connections: Guided Wellness Workshop
Wednesdays, 5 p.m. until 6 p.m.
Could you use a time out in the middle of the week to let go of stress and press reset on your mind? Join our workshop on meditation, personal growth, and wellness. You can drop in any time and enjoy a discussion on different techniques to help you access your inner reserves of peace and happiness. Register in advance for this webinar

YOGA (Vinyasa/Hatha)
Wednesdays, 6 p.m. until 6:30 p.m.

This class is great for those who are looking for a slight challenge in their yoga practice. This will be a medium to fast paced yoga sequence. Giving the body a chance to warm up while still staying connected to the movement and breath. Feeling a boost of refreshed energy and calmness after a nice powerful vinyasa flow! Fitness
Fridays, 12 p.m. until 12:30 p.m.

It’s a spontaneous fitness session where participants join not knowing what activities will take place. These activities are inclusive and are modified to accommodate participants attending the session. Activities may include deck of cards training, core on the floor and or cardio blast.
