G3 Gets Underway Today! Info Sessions Begin July 7
The G3 initiative kicks into high gear today, July 1! This initiative, the “Get Skilled, Get a Job, Give Back” program, makes it possible for Virginians with low or modest income to pursue jobs in high-demand fields. Time and money are two major factors when exploring training for a new career. The G3 scholarship makes community college possible (for those who financially qualify) on a timeline that works for them (full time, part time, a few weeks, or a few years). G3 students can select from a list of approved programs in five high-need career areas: Healthcare, Information Technology, Manufacturing and Skilled Trades, Early Childhood Education and Public Safety.
Join us for one of these 30-minute webinars covering eligibility requirements, a review of NOVA’s G3-approved programs and other frequently asked questions. Info sessions are open to faculty, staff and current or future students.
