NOVA Bids Sad Farewell to Asante Clarke
It is with great sadness that we share the news that Reginald “Asante” Clarke passed away. Mr. Clarke started his career at NOVA in 1983 as a special needs counselor at the Alexandria Campus. He also taught as an associate professor in the Human Services Department before becoming program head for the Human Services/Substance Abuse Program. In 2005, he went to the Manassas Campus as a Disabilities Counselor where he stayed until he retired this summer. As many of you know, he was a beloved counselor and SDV instructor respected for his expertise as well as his positivity and warm hugs. Please keep Asante’s family and friends in your thoughts.
