We Need You For College Standing Committees!

The College Senate Committee on Committees invites (and encourages) you to join in shared governance this upcoming academic year! There are multiple vacancies available on College Standing Committees beginning in fall 2021. These include: Instructional and Student Services (ISSC), Personnel Services (PSC), Awards, Budget Advisory, Commencement, Credit for Prior Learning, Curriculum, Hearing, Scholarship and Environmental and Sustainability.

The committee compositions are designed to be representative of all position classifications across all campuses and the central offices. In order to evaluate applicants equitably, we are asking each person provide a short narrative expressing their interest, preferences, and skills related to their committee(s) of choice. If you are interested in volunteering for one or more standing committees, please complete the volunteer form here.

Be sure to progress to the end of the form, where you will be asked to provide your contact and position information. Vacancies are classification and, in some cases, campus specific, but there’s something for everyone!

Your participation is essential. Please complete the interest form no later than Monday, August 2 for full consideration.
