“Bridging the Gap” to Provide Resources to Help Students
The Financial Stability and Advocacy Centers will hold resource sessions on Fridays in August. “Bridging the Gap Between Hardship and Student Success” will help faculty and staff learn how they can assist students who have life challenges that are affecting them academically. You will learn more about connecting students to the appropriate supports and resources offered at NOVA?
The Financial Stability and Advocacy Centers are poised to help students who are facing financial challenges, food and housing insecurity, and inadequate healthcare. As you know, these obstacles negatively impact their educational success.
Every Friday in August, the Financial Stability and Advocacy Centers will host one-hour, drop-in Zoom sessions where faculty and staff can learn more and ask questions about the support and resources available to students.
Please join us on Friday, Aug. 6, 13, 20 or 27, anytime between 12 p.m. and 1 p.m.
Use this ZOOM link for each session.
