Eating well plays a large role in how we feel overall. If you are looking for a few simple ways to start eating healthier, here are some easy tips to ensure you are giving your body sufficient nutrients:
- Eat whole foods instead of processed foods
- Limit your sugary beverage intake
- Keep healthier food readily available
- When grocery shopping be sure to shop the perimeters as they have your fresh foods
- Be sure to consume healthy proteins and fats such as seeds, nuts, legumes, etc.
- Use whole grain ingredients
- Eat from a smaller plate (portion control)
- Consume more probiotics in your diet
- Limit obsession with calorie counting and focus on nutrient counting
