As we at CommonHealth conclude our series on Overcoming Stress and Anxiety, we are focusing this month on Imagery and clarity of mind. Both methods are effective in shifting our attention away from negative thoughts to a clear, non-reactive state. By depriving our negative thoughts and emotions of our attention and energy, we prevent them from impacting us negatively. When combined with the previous meditation on breathing, these three activities will assist us in achieving our goal of overcoming stress and anxiety.
