No Detail Overlooked in Preparations to Return to Campus
As is the case for many agencies and organizations throughout Virginia, NOVA is making preparations to return to in-person work and learning, beginning this summer. We’re eager to see each other again and, for some, we anxiously await the ability to talk to people who are more than three feet tall…and screaming. This is exciting. However, it also stands to reason that, after eighteen months of taking great precautions in everything we do, there would be some misgivings about suddenly immersing ourselves in public environments. NOVA understands, and we want you to know that we are anticipating questions and are trying to address them before they are even asked.
Steve Patterson, NOVA’s chief facilities officer, is featured in a helpful video explaining the precautions NOVA is taking to keep our community safe as we re-enter “reality.” Specifically, in the video linked below, he addresses NOVA’s work related to ventilation and air filtration in our HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning) systems.
