Reminder: NOVA Convocation August 16

We are excited to welcome you back to campus for NOVA’s Fall Convocation on Monday, August 16 from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. This event will be held both in person at the Schlesinger Center on the Alexandria Campus and via Zoom webinar live stream from your campus office. The keynote address Equity Talk to Equity Walk: Utilizing Data for Equity-Minded Sense-Making will be delivered by Dr. Tia Brown McNair, AAC&U’s vice president for diversity, equity and student success.

Morning refreshments will be available to those who attend in person. NOVA offices will be closed during Convocation, from 8 a.m. until 12 p.m., so that all faculty and staff have the opportunity to attend. Based on current CDC guidance and VCCS/NOVA policy, face coverings are required for all attendees at Schlesinger Center and indoors on all college properties.
