AN Assoc. Dean Jen Rainey Appointed as Interim Dean for LASS at LO

Effective Wednesday, August 25, Annandale Associate Dean Jennifer “Jen” Rainey will be the interim dean for the LASS Division at Loudoun Campus. Dr. Rainey, who has been at NOVA as a faculty member since 2003, became associate dean for communication studies, art, and music at the Annandale Campus three years ago after serving as assistant dean for four years. Dr. Rainey is the current chair of the Instructional Student Services Committee and the College Forms Committee as well as editor of the Liberal Arts Times Newsletter. She is a past chair of the Associate Dean Working Group and has also served as a discipline chair, faculty advocate and secretary of the Annandale Campus Council. Dr. Rainey is known across the college for commitment to excellence in her work. 

We are fortunate to have Dr. Rainey’s leadership in this role.
