Hybrid Training to Start Monday, August 30

Recent studies have shown that hybrid learning has experienced tremendous growth and will continue to grow in post-secondary education. A hybrid course can meet students’ needs for flexibility and provide faculty more room for creativity in teaching with availability of two learning environments–both online and in person. The biggest benefit of a well-developed hybrid course is a much-improved teaching and learning experience.

Three sessions of Hybrid Certification Course will be offered for NOVA faculty this fall. The first session will begin Monday, August 30. Participants can learn anywhere, at anytime to complete the course on Canvas, based on their personal schedule. After successful completion, faculty will be certified to teach hybrid courses at NOVA and earn credit for their professional development or continuing education.
