Connect with Career Connection – NOVA’s Career Services Resource for Students, Faculty and Staff
Curious about Career Connection? Career Connection is NOVA’s College-wide career services management system that connects students, alumni, and employers. Jobs and internships are uploaded daily and career events such as career fairs, information sessions and workshops are all available in Career Connection for students and alumni.
With classes are back in session, the Employer and Career Services Team wants to ensure all NOVA Faculty and Staff are aware of Career Connection. Along with this, we encourage faculty and staff to continue to remind students to log into Career Connection and access our wide range of resources. Students can search for jobs and internships, create a profile for employers and upload their resume, and practice interviews using our Mock Interviews tool. Some of the upcoming event’s facilitation through Career Connection for students and alumni include the Part Time Jobs and Paid Internships Virtual Employer Lobby on September 29th from 12-2pm and the IET Job and Internship Fair on October 13 from 12 p.m. until 3 p.m.
If you or your department are interested in learning more about Career Connection or you want to share more about this resource with a class or student group, please fill out this Career Connection Demo Form. Our Employer and Career Services Team will provide a virtual presentation to share more information on how to best utilize Career Connection for not only students, but faculty and staff as well.
As the semester goes on, the Employer and Career Services Team will share more resources and tips related to Career Connection to ensure all NOVA faculty and staff can support student success.
