Classified Staff ACE Conference Registration Open

It’s time to register for the ACE Conference. You will receive a confirmation email, which will automatically register you for the raffle! The Provosts and their campuses are continuing with the tradition of donating wonderful items for the raffle, and we cannot thank them enough for their generosity! 

In order to support our classified staff and the ACE Conference, at the Provosts’ recommendation, Dr. Kress has agreed that student-facing services and student in-person campus services will be closed for the day on Tuesday, October 12, to give all classified staff the opportunity to attend. Professional faculty working in the same offices (for example, counselors), and classified staff who choose not to attend the ACE Conference, have the option of either working on other tasks (such as email or catching up on other office work) that day or taking leave.   

The conference theme this year is WELLNESS – there will be a keynote address by Dr. Kress, a presentation from the Office of Wellness and Mental Health and four breakout sessions: retirement, financial wellness, cultivating a considerate environment and building your team with Teams.  

Once again, we are asking participants to help re-stock the campus pantries. We will have a committee member at each campus on Wednesday, October 6. You can pick up your ACE Conference “gift” and drop off your donation. Here are some ideal items to donate: 

  • Canned Goods: beans, tuna, vegetables, fruit & fruit cups, soup, tomato sauce, juices 
  • Box/Dry: ready-made/microwave/add water meals, soups, cereal, oatmeal, rice, beans, pasta, granola/protein bars, snacks 
  • Jar: peanut butter, jelly, pasta sauce 
  • Condiments: mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard 
  • Personal care items: soap, toothpaste, deodorant, feminine products, diapers/wipes 

Here is where you can get your “gift” and drop-off your pantry donation on October 6: 

  • AL Campus: AFA 111 between 8:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. OR AA156 between 8:30 a.m. until 5 p.m.
  • AN Campus: CT 232 between 1 p.m. until 3 p.m.
  • LO Campus: EuroCafé between 1 p.m. until 3 p.m.
  • MA Campus: Provost Conference room between 3 p.m. until 5 p.m.
  • MEC: Student Services, Room 202 between 11 a.m. until 3 p.m.
  • Pender: Pender 4 Lobby between 11 a.m. until 1 p.m.
  • WO Campus: WS 254 between 1 p.m. until 3 p.m.
