NOVA Online Teaching Webinar with Prof. Nicole Tong, Sept. 24

September 17, 2021 / Events

As part of our ongoing support for faculty who are teaching hybrid and online courses at NOVA, NOVA Online has been offering a series of college-wide webinars shared by our talented faculty colleagues to promote best practices each semester. The first webinar of the fall will be held on Friday, September 24, from 12 p.m. until 1 p.m. Professor Nicole Tong from Annandale Campus will present TILTed Toward Student Success: Enhancing Hybrid and Online Learning Through Transparent Assignments. Come join us for a great opportunity to learn about how transparency in learning and teaching (TILT) can make an impact on students’ successful performance. While TILT is helpful to all types of courses, it is particularly important to help students learn in online and hybrid courses in which learners have no or limited in-person interaction with instructors.
