Ana Alonso Appointed as Interim Dean for LASS at Manassas Campus

Effective Wednesday, Sept. 22, Manassas’ Associate Dean Ana Alonso will be the interim dean for the LASS Division at Manassas Campus. Ms. Alonso has served in the associate dean role at Manassas since 2018. Prior to that, she served as an interim associate dean of the Languages and Literature Division at the Annandale Campus for almost two years. Ms. Alonso was teaching faculty at Annandale for ten years prior to moving into administrative roles, seven of which she also served as the assistant dean of World Languages. 

She has been actively involved in several other college activities. She has chaired the Council of Academic Associate Deans, co-chaired the campus Professional Development committee and is a current member of the College Personnel Services Committee. 

Manassas is pleased to have Ms. Alonso in this role.
