Financial Aid Webinars Available for FAFSA Week: Oct. 18-21

NOVA’s Financial Aid Office will host multiple financial aid webinars for “FAFSA Week,” Oct. 18 through Oct. 21. Please encourage current and prospective students, along with their parents, to participate in these online sessions to learn more about financial aid and other resources at NOVA.

Click on the session titles below to register in advance for one or more of these zoom webinars.  After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing details about joining the webinar.

FAFSA WEEK Schedule

Monday, October 18
     3 p.m.         Financial Aid Essentials – For Students

Tuesday, October 19
     10 a.m.       Completing Verification and FAFSA Updates
     6 p.m.         Financial Aid Essentials for Parents

Wednesday, October 20
     10 a.m.       Financial Aid Essentials – For Students
     3 p.m.         Satisfactory Academic Progress

Thursday, October 21
     6 p.m.         How to Pay for College

Help guide your students for more information about financial aid at NOVA, or contact NOVA’s 24-Hour Student Support Center at 1-855-323-3199. Students may also visit a Campus Financial Aid Office or log on to the Financial Aid Virtual Lobby to speak with a Financial Aid Manager one-on-one. 

If they have not already done so, students should submit the 2021-2022 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for the current academic year. They may also submit the 2022-2023 FAFSA beginning October 1, 2021 if they plan to attend NOVA during the 2022-2023 academic year that begins in fall 2022.
