NOVA Makers 

NOVA Makers is a new program at the Fab Lab in which members can use the lab to work on personal projects and be part of a Maker community. These open-lab sessions allow for self-guided projects along with available technical support from Fab Lab staff.  Membership is open to NOVA college students, faculty/staff and high school students. Bristlebots & Book Read: This is What An Engineer Looks Like 

Free to children of NOVA Students!  In this session, young children will be able to build and test a motorized bristlebot, read and hear from the author of This Is What An Engineer Looks Like, and learn about STEAM careers and engineering.  Participants will receive a copy of the book and be able to take home their bristlebot.  For children in kindergarten through 4th grades. Open to the college and the public.  Saturday, October 9th at 10:30 am.  Click here for registration and more information.
