Watch for Upcoming Zooms: Office Hours and SACSCOC Walk Through
Today’s topic looks ahead to next week’s October Office Hour Zoom and an upcoming opportunity to learn more about our SACSCOC site visit.

As always, I will also take questions via chat following my presentation. And, many thanks to those of you who have attended the campus open forums and/or office hours—it has been wonderful to be back on campus and see you in person again!
We’re also scheduling a zoom presentation for that same week on our upcoming SACSCOC site visit, so look for information and a link for that presentation in the Daily Flyer this week. I will be joined by our SACSCOC Liaison Dr. Pam Hilbert and several members of our QEP team. We’ll walk through the SACSCOC reaffirmation process and timeline, provide an overview of the site visit and its purpose and describe the QEP process and project. If you attended or watched Fall Convocation, you might find much of the material shared to be familiar, but I want to be certain that everyone has a chance to hear the presentation and ask any questions that remain. The SACSCOC accreditation reaffirmation process takes several years of diligent review and much collaborative work, and I am grateful to the hundreds of NOVA faculty and staff who have brought their expertise and experience to this effort.
