NOVA and the N.Va. Chamber Unveil First Northern Virginia Workforce Index, Wed., Oct. 6

The Northern Virginia Chamber of Commerce is hosting a virtual event to unveil key findings from the first annual Northern Virginia Workforce Index, developed collaboratively with NOVA’s Business Engagement Center and the Labor Market Research team. This free event will begin at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 6. Please register here.

This launch event will feature keynote remarks from NOVA President Anne M. Kress, followed by a panel discussion with top local business leaders. The panel will be moderated by Steve Partridge, NOVA’s vice president for strategy, research and workforce innovation.

Paul Misener, vice president, global innovation policy and communications, Amazon

The index combines survey responses from 91 local business leaders with real-time labor market data to provide detailed analysis on employer sentiment and workforce practices in the Northern Virginia region.
