Mindful Resilience – A Workshop for NOVA Staff and Faculty, Week of Oct. 18

October 6, 2021 / Events

Drs. Cheri Spiegel and Paul Fitzgerald, with support from the MSTB and LASS divisions on the Annandale Campus, are proud to host three “Mindful Resilience” workshops for faculty and staff during the week of October 18th. These workshops build upon Cheri’s work in non-violent communication and Paul’s training in mindfulness meditation. During these workshops, we’ll explore how we might come together as a campus community, occupying shared and familiar work spaces after a prolonged absence. Together with others in our community, we’ll discuss strategies for reimagining our shared work, as we embody and honor what we’ve learned about ourselves and our needs during the pandemic.

All three workshops will be held on the Annandale Campus in room CM-332, and attendees have the option to choose from three different session dates (Monday, Tuesday or Friday)! All attendees will receive lunch!

All are welcome! However, since these events are being held in an indoor location, attendance for each session is limited to 20 attendees, and all attendees must register using this link. We hope to see you there!
