Grant Workshops Now Available, Oct. 15
Have you ever wanted to learn how to successfully submit a grant application for funding? NOVA’s Grants Office is now offering an exciting professional development opportunity to all college employees. A series of one-hour live workshops on different grant topics will held this fall/winter in collaboration with Hanover Research, our consulting partner in providing practical and technical insights for winning grants.
The first in the series, “Good vs. Fundable Proposals,” will take place on Friday, October 15, from 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. This session will provide a close look at how a good idea might be turned into a fundable opportunity. Topics covered include an overview of project design principles and best practices for achieving alignment with funders’ interests. Subsequent workshops will cover “Essentials of Competitive Proposal Writing,” on November 19 and “The Grants Lifecycle: Rejection, Revision and Resubmission,” on February 4.
Register in advance. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.
