Celebrate Cybersecurity Awareness Month with NOVA IET Cyber Week, Week of Oct. 18

As part of National Cybersecurity Awareness Month, the NOVA IET division will host a series of virtual events and workshops during Cyber Week 2021 to educate, engage and inspire students interested in pursuing careers in cybersecurity. Each day, we will host a different workshop that addresses a relevant topic, including taking the CompTIA Security+ exam, navigating a career in Cybersecurity and writing a cybersecurity resume. • Monday, Oct 18, 6 p.m. until 7 p.m.: Acing the CompTIA Security+ Exam Part 1 with Kwabena Konadu
• Tuesday, Oct 19, 6:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m.: Cybersecurity Resume Writing with Katia’s Cylife
• Wednesday, Oct 20, 1 p.m. until 2 p.m.: Landing a Job in Cybersecurity Recruiters Panel
• Thursday, Oct 21, 6 p.m. until 7:30 p.m.: IET Speaker Series featuring Nick Espinosa
• Friday, Oct 22, 10 a.m. until 11:30 a.m.: Acing the CompTIA Security+ Exam Part 2 with Zach Lawrence
