Share Names of Students to Remember Posthumously

The NOVA community shares the sense of loss that families feel when a student passes away. In preparation for this year’s Winter Commencement, the Commencement Committee is asking for faculty and staff to share with the Office of Student Rights and Responsibilities the names of any students who may have passed away during the summer 2021 or fall 2021 semesters by Monday, November 15, 2021. Any names made known to the Office of Student Rights and Responsibilities after this date may not be recognized until the next commencement due to the process in place for granting posthumous awards.
