In keeping with Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) academic goals and actions, the academic deans are working with Academic Affairs; the Office of Institutional Research; Student Services; Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning; our Chief Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Officer; and the college-wide Student Success Team to create Student Success, Data and Equity Summits for all pathway councils. These level-setting summits will provide guidance and resources to assist all practitioners. Through an equity lens, participants will navigate data for their respective areas; review evidence-based practices and pedagogies and engage in reflective dialogues with pathway colleagues. There will be clear communication around the goals and the urgency behind meeting the goals throughout the summits. All participants will understand how their work at the College contributes to the achievement of these goals. These virtual summits will feature two pathway councils for each summit. Please save the date. After attending the Student Success, Data and Equity Summits, all registrants will receive a “digital backpack” containing summit presentations, videos, links and resources. Contact your respective pathway dean, discipline chair/ lead or Academic Affairs for any additional information or to request a link to the digital backpack.
