Become a Certified VITA Tax Volunteer During the 2022 Tax Filing Season

Nationally known as the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program, the Internal Revenue Service is currently recruiting faculty, staff, and students to become Certified Tax Law Advisors. Once trained and certified, volunteers will assist taxpayers on-campus and virtually at tax filing sessions during the 2022 filing season (February – April). Volunteers will become knowledgeable in individual income tax law topics and will be able to assist individuals filing their taxes.

To learn more, please attend the upcoming informational workshop hosted by the IRS, followed by a Question & Answer session on Thursday, Dec. 2, 2021 from 12 p.m. until 12:45 p.m.
