Still Need Up to 6 Faculty Marshals for Dec. 14, 6:30 Commencement

NOVA’s first ever Winter Commencement will be Tuesday, Dec. 14 at the Schlesinger Center (Alexandria Campus). Our theme is “Go Boldly”! There will be three commencement ceremonies on Dec. 14 at 10 a.m., 3 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. The ceremonies will be divided alphabetically by graduates’ last names.

We have a critical need for a few more volunteers to assist, particularly during the evening ceremony. We need 8 additional faculty marshals who already have (you either own or have arranged to rent) regalia and an additional 10 staff volunteers to serve in the 6:30 hour.

Please note that the fall grade submission deadline has been moved to Dec. 17 to make room in your schedule to volunteer to help with Commencement. Orientation and training will be provided. Please register to volunteer here. For more information, email us at novagradteam@nvcc.edu.
