Dave “The IT Guy” Campbell to Retire After 28 Years at NOVA
David R. Campbell will retire on Dec. 31 after 28 years of service to NOVA. Beginning as a full-time instructor on the Annandale Campus in 1993, he later joined Continuing Education (now Workforce) and began designing, establishing and maintaining computer labs at Tyson’s Corner, Westpark Drive, Falls Church and finally the Pitney Bowes Building in Annandale. During this time he was an adjunct professor for Workforce, offering classes in the Microsoft Office suite, MS Servers, PowerShell, QuickBooks, TCP/IP, CompTIA’s A+ and Security + and Troubleshooting. As a member of the College Staff since 2011, David filled the position of IT manager for Pitney Bowes.
David plans to travel abroad during 2022 and possibly return to teach as an adjunct in late 2022.
David wishes the best of luck to his fellow IT Techs in all their future endeavors.
