Dr. Megan Cook Named Interim Dean of Health Sciences

It is my pleasure to announce that Dr. Megan Cook began serving as the interim dean of Health Sciences effective Jan. 3, 2022.

Dr. Cook has extensive experience in academia and health care. She has committed over 10 years of employment at the Medical Education Campus, serving as the Founder and Program Director for the Occupational Therapy Program, and most recently serving as the Associate Dean of Health Sciences for the past two years. She is experienced in curriculum development, accreditation and budgeting.

Dr. Cook earned her doctorate in Occupational Therapy (OTD) from Virginia Commonwealth University, a master of science in Occupational Therapy and a bachelor of science in Health Sciences from Misericordia University. Additionally, she licensed in Virginia in occupational therapy.

The search for the next Dean Health Sciences will take place in the Spring semester.
