New Site-Specific Exhibition at Loudoun’s Waddell Art Gallery, Jan. 18- Feb.18
We are excited to share that the new exhibition at the Waddell Art Gallery opens on Tuesday, January 18. It is called Water’s Edge, and is a large-scale installation by artist Caryn Martin.
What is fascinating about this show is that it will encompass the entire space. Caryn makes numerous ink monotype prints on transparent tracing paper. She then uses those prints collectively to create physical “waves” of paper. The result isn’t a collection of paintings or sculptures or other smaller artworks to view. It is one massive wave that will encourage the viewer to step inside this immersive experience.
Please mark your calendars; this exhibition is available exclusively for ONE month from January 18 – February 18, 2022. Gallery Hours: Monday through Friday, 9am-7pm.
