Remember to Publish Your Spring 2022 Courses

Reminder to instructors to publish all Canvas shells for classes starting January 18 on January 14. If you have requested cross-listing of your courses, please do not publish your courses before that date, as publishing too early will interfere with that process. 

Courses starting later than January 18 should be published 3 calendar days before the start of the session. Students are directed to look for their courses at that time. Instructors are the only ones who can publish courses. NOVA Canvas Support cannot publish courses on behalf of the instructors and students cannot access unpublished courses.

Course start dates should not be edited in the Course Settings navigation. Setting a later start date prohibits the student from accessing the course until that date/time and the students will not have access to course announcements or Zoom links.
