Office of DEI Presents the Jan. and Feb. Spotlight Events
The Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion is excited to announce the next two events in our monthly Spotlight series!
On Jan. 24, in partnership with the NOVA’s Medical Education Campus, Mariangela “M” Abeo will be speaking about mental health in the LGBTQIA+ community and beyond.
And on Feb. 3, in an event aligned with Black History Month and in partnership with the Woodbridge Campus, NOVA welcomes Angela Harrelson and Paris Stevens, the aunt and cousin of George Floyd. Ms. Harrelson and Ms. Stevens will have a roundtable discussion in their “I Can’t Breathe” series about justice in the African American community.
More details about these events are coming soon! Keep an eye on the Daily Flyer, the DEI page on NOVAnet, or the DEI web site for information.
