Don’t forget about the two remaining January Career Services Workshops! In partnership with Student Life, the Employer and Career Services Team is hosting three workshops which will explore various career resources and tools that are available to NOVA students and alumni. Please review the workshops below and share them with your students. We would also love for faculty and staff to join, so please use this Faculty and Staff Workshop Registration Form to sign up.

Searching and Applying for Jobs and Internships – January 25th from 3-4pm

  • Join the Employer and Career Services Team to learn more about one of the most important features of Career Connection – how to search and apply for jobs and internships! In this session you will learn about using filters to search for jobs and internships, setting up job alerts, researching employers and using Career Connection for job applications. Building a Resume and Developing Interview Skills – January 31st from 2-3pm

  • Join the Employer and Career Services Team to learn more about utilizing the Resume Builder and Mock Interview Tool in Career Connection! In this session you will learn about setting up your career profile, using the resume builder, creating a mock interview and general resume and interview tips.
