TODAY: AL Campus Presents Artist Jum Jirapan AFA Gallery

January 24, 2022 / Events

We all have keepsakes we hold close to our hearts. Join President Anne M. Kress and former NOVA Art Student Jum Jirapan for the Keepsake Project. The artwork in this series presents the keepsake stories from international students at NOVA. For Jirapan, was commissioned to illustrate 50 of these cherished, sentimental objects of ESL students from the Alexandria campus. The project was envisioned and coordinated by ESL Professor John Kinney and exhibited in conjunction with Professor Stacy Slaten from the NOVA Alexandria Fine Arts Department. Please join us in person or by Zoom to see the art, read these amazing stories, meet the artist and some of the students and faculty who worked with this project.
