Register for NOVA Student Life 2022 Diversity Institute This Feb.
This year, we are welcoming a unique online experience with the “Just Cause” production. The experience is a “ripped-from-the-headlines” story set in the work-from-home world of the COVID-19 pandemic with backdrops like the death of George Floyd and the #MeToo movement. Participants will engage together within a fully immersive and interactive experience.” Following this will be a session led by Mr. DeMarcus Merritt Sr. on “Inclusion in Action.” The next day will finish up with a final discussion concluding the “Just Cause” experience.
The institute will be a fully virtual and follow the scheduled outline below.
Thursday, February 17
11 a.m. until 1 p.m.: The “Just Cause” Online Experience [Part 1]
1:15 p.m. until 2:30 p.m.: “Inclusion in Action” How to transition from talking it to walking it – Led by Mr. DeMarcus Merritt Sr.
Friday, February 18
12 p.m. until 1 p.m.: “Just Cause” Online Experience [Part 2]
