Today at 9: Transfer Virginia Portal Training for Faculty, Staff

The next Transfer Virginia Portal Training session for community college personnel will take place today, Thursday, January 27 from 9 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. The Zoom information can be found below and no registration is required.

This training session is designed to help faculty/staff better understand how the portal can meet the needs of our students. Prior to attending the session, please make sure to watch a full portal demo if you have not participated in one already. The training session will focus on certain facets of the portal so having a global understanding of what the portal does will be helpful.

As a reminder, the portal is in the “early release” phase and provides transfer information for 35 institutions with an additional 18 institutions providing college profiles. A “full release” with more features and partners is scheduled for March 2022. The portal provides quick and easy access to transfer equivalencies, career searching, and college majors. Coming in March, users will also find requirements for different majors and how their courses, tests, and credentials apply to those degrees.
