The NOVA Annandale DEI Committee cordially invites all students, faculty, and staff to a virtual discussion on the impact of historically African American fraternities and sororities on higher education and politics!

The Divine 9 via Zoom will be held this evening, Feb. 28, 6 p.m.

Our distinguished panelists include:

  • Hon. Robin Kelly, U.S. congresswoman (Ill.); Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc.
  • Dr. Belle Wheelan, former Virginia secretary of education; Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
  • Hon. Ronald Watson, Maryland state senator; Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.
  • Ms. Allison Pulliam, national partnership director for ISRC; Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc.
  • Rev. Dr. Kevin D. Miller, pastor, Carter Community AME Church, Queens, N.Y.; Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc.
