Final Reminder: Employee Mandatory Training Due Today at 11:59 p.m.

If you haven’t completed the required mandatory training modules, please be sure to take action in Canvas by today, Feb. 28, at 11:59 p.m. The training modules will no longer be available after today. The training requirements apply to all current faculty and staff (including adjunct faculty, wage/P-14 employees, student hires, and work study students). Please read the mandatory training announcement from Human Resources carefully; a copy of the announcement along with the FAQs can also be found at https://tinyurl.com/NOVA2021mandatorytraining.

In order to access the modules, you must first sign up for the bundle through GoSignMeUp (GSMU) at https://nvcc.gosignmeup.com, select Human Resources from the left menu option, select Training, and then click “NOVA 2021 Employee Mandatory Training” to register. You will receive a confirmation email. Please review the step-by-step guide at http://tiny.cc/novagosignmeup to ensure full registration.

As a reminder, employees must complete the Final Acknowledgement module in Canvas to confirm their completion for this year’s training requirements. Please select the Grades menu option in Canvas to ensure the Final Acknowledgment module is listed as complete (score of 100/100%). Training records do not need to be sent to Human Resources.

New employees starting on/after January 1 will be assigned a separate training course in Canvas within 30 days from hire. If you have questions regarding the new hire assignment as part of your onboarding, please contact hrlearn@nvcc.edu.

Supervisors will be advised to follow up as appropriate with employees who fail to complete the mandatory training by today, Feb. 28, at 11:59 p.m.
