Career Services Open House and Workshop on the Alexandria Campus!

Come meet the Employer and Career Services Team while learning more about Career Connection! We are hosting our in-person “All About Careers Workshop” on Tuesday, March 22 from 3 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. at the Alexandria Campus in Bisdorf 158. This session is all about searching for jobs and internships and using the resume builder and mock interview tools in Career Connection. Alexandria Career Counselor Trevor Blair will also be in attendance to answer any questions. This is a great opportunity for students to meet with him and prepare before our Internship Fair on Wednesday, March 30 on the Annandale Campus!

In this session students will learn about setting up their career profile, using the resume builder, creating a mock interview and general resume and interview tips. Along with this, students will also learn about using filters to search for jobs and internships, setting up job alerts, researching employers and using Career Connection for job applications. Following this event, Trevor and other members of the Career Services Team will be available for an Open House to learn more about our services at NOVA. We invite students, faculty and staff to come meet our Team! Students can register in Career Connection.
