Generation Hope’s 2022 Student Parent Fellowship Opportunity

Did you know that one in five college students is parenting while attending school? NOVA is proud to announce a position for a one-year fellowship for a student parent enrolled at NOVA. We are looking for a creative, driven student parent to join us in Generation Hope’s inaugural #FamilyU cohort as a 2022 Student Parent Fellow!

This one-year fellowship will allow one NOVA student parent who wants to advocate for and create student parent support systems for other students, faculty and staff. The Student Parent Fellow will receive a $20,000 stipend to help the college enhance its student parent supports over the next year.

This opportunity is part of our participation in a program called FamilyU which is offered by Generation Hope, a nonprofit organization working with colleges and universities to create more family-friendly campuses across the country.
