Grateful for Our Employees and Their Years of Service

March 29, 2022 / Tuesday Topics

Today’s topic is NOVA’s annual Years of Service celebration.

In October, NOVA held one of our first in-person events since the pandemic: fittingly, it was an event congratulating and thanking amazing employees receiving Years of Service awards for 2020 and 2021. After over a year of being apart, it was wonderful to come back together to recognize the commitment, talent and hard work of our valued colleagues. The energy and joy in the room that afternoon spoke to the importance of these opportunities to join as a community in honoring and celebrating the faculty and staff who make NOVA special.

This Friday, April 1, we will once more gather to celebrate NOVA’s Years of Service awards and our newest Emerita faculty and staff—this time for 2022. These employees and their guests will be honored at a luncheon at the Westfields Marriott. After years—and, in many cases, decades—of exemplary service, they deserve our cheers, applause and gratitude. Time and time again, our students trace their success back to the dedication, care, passion and compassion demonstrated by our faculty and staff. The depth and breadth of their experience is the foundation of NOVA’s strength. This is their moment to shine, and our moment to share our thanks!

You can find the full list of Years of Service honorees here, and I know you join me in congratulating each for her, his and their careers of remarkable achievement at NOVA!
