NOVA Makers 
This special program allows members to use the Fab Lab to work on personal projects.  Membership is free to NOVA Faculty/Staff/Students and equipment training and safety orientations are provided.  

  • Monday:   OPEN LAB, 4 p.m. until 9 p.m.
  • Tuesday:  OPEN LAB, 1 p.m. until 5 p.m.
  • Tuesday:  SAFETY & ORIENTATION, 6 p.m. until 7 p.m.   *For new members!
  • Tuesday:  MACHINE CERTIFICATION – UV Flatbed Printer 7:30 p.m. until 9:30 p.m.  
  • Thursday: OPEN LAB, 4 p.m. until 9 p.m.
  • Friday:      OPEN LAB, 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.
  • Friday:      SAFETY & ORIENTATION, 1 p.m. until 2 p.m.  *For new members!
  • Friday:      MACHINE CERTIFICATION – Large Laser Cutter, 2:30 p.m. until 4:30 p.m.

Dominating our Design Challenge: Learning the Tools 
Monday – Mobile session at Chinn Park Library (Woodbridge) 3:30 p.m. until 5 p.m. Middle & high school students. 

Junior Maker Club 
Monday – The Spring 2022 club is open to 4th – 8th graders that want to tinker and build a miniature greenhouse with automated watering system.  

Dominating our Design Challenge: Using Design Thinking (virtual) 
Thursday – Open to middle, high school, & college students. 

Spring 2022 Design Challenge 
Virtual submissions are being accepted until April 15th!  Open to college, high school and middle school students with cash prizes for the top three finalists. An Educator’s  Guide provides ideas on how to incorporate the challenge into your classes. Please share this unique opportunity with our NOVA students. Summer 2022 STEM Camps  
The NOVA SySTEMic Summer Camp registration is now open! Camp options include Fabrication, Coding, Robotics, Rocketry, Cybersecurity and more. Camps will be in-person alongside a limited selection of virtual camps.  Open to rising 4th – 12th graders. More info at https://www.nvcc.edu/systemic/camps.html
