NOVA Fact: Headcount
Between fall 2017 and fall 2021, the headcount of first-time in college students at NOVA increased from 13,054 students to 18,257 students, an increase of 40 percent. However, during this time, the total headcount of students at the College decreased from 51,190 students to 49,560 students, a decrease of 3 percent.
Between fall 2017 and fall 2021, the number of first-time in college, full-time equivalent students (FTES) at NOVA increased from 6,861 students to 9,069 students, an increase of 32 percent. However, during this time, the total number of FTES at the College decreased from 28,902 students to 26,126 students, a decrease of 10 percent.
NOVA’s Office of Strategic Insights (OSI), hopes these weekly NOVA facts will build awareness of the College’s institutional data. OSI personnel conduct studies, publish research reports, administer programs and provide consultancy services to help faculty and staff implement the College’s mission and vision in accordance with its strategic plan.
