Coming Soon: Enhanced Email Security as of April 26

Starting on Tuesday, April 26, in alignment with VCCS IT security policies and industry best practices, ITSS is implementing enhanced email security standards which will help protect the College from email phishing, spoofing and hijacking of the @nvcc.edu domain.

All third-party services or systems that send emails using an @nvcc.edu address must be on the College’s authorized sender list. ITSS has worked over the past several weeks to configure all known third party services and systems with the necessary security settings. If a third-party service or system is not “authorized” to send as @nvcc.edu, those emails will go to JUNK or SPAM for the recipient.  

If you have a third-party service or system that you believe will be impacted by this change and you have not coordinated with ITSS, please contact Shelly Ryan at snryan@nvcc.edu.
