2022 Swank Films Request for Streaming Classrooms Films, Open thru May 15
The Annual Swank Films Request Period for FY23 is now open! Swank Digital Campus offers a collection of streaming films licensed by NOVA Libraries for courses requiring films for educational use. Individual film requests can be made using this survey.
The Swank Films Request period is open April 1 through May 15. During this time, instructors may submit requests for films available through Swank Digital Campus to be licensed by NOVA Libraries. The licenses will be valid for required course use from July 1, 2022 through June 30, 2023. Film licenses must be renewed on an annual basis. If you requested a film in the past and will continue to use it in your course beyond June 30, 2022, please submit a new request via the survey.
NOVA Libraries will work to honor up to 100 film requests. If budget limitations dictate that not all Swank Digital Campus requests can be accommodated, films will be selected based on potential savings impact for students. Please see the Swank page on the Streaming Video Guide for additional information about using these films in courses.
Please note: Due to licensing restrictions, films may only be viewed via a link in Canvas or shown in class. These films do not have public performance rights. More information about using Swank films in courses is available on the Streaming Video Guide.
