Internal Messaging within the Canvas Gradebook

Did you know that Canvas allows teachers to message students from within Gradebook. Click the ellipsis next to the title of an assignment in Grades and select “Message Students Who…” from the drop down menu. You can then choose to message students who meet requirements such “Haven’t submitted yet,” and “Haven’t been graded,” “Scored less than” and “Scored more than.” These messages go directly to the students’ Canvas Inbox.
